San Francisco Summer Intern Housing & Meals

Our summer housing facilities in San Francisco offer the convenience and comfort necessary for an easy transition into living in the big city. Participants will never feel alone, as they will reside among their entire Discovery Internships class who together will explore their new city and experience all our program has to offer.

Housing at the University of San Francisco

This summer you’ll be living on San Francisco's beautiful USF campus.  Located on a hilltop near Golden Gate Park, USF sits on 55 acres overlooking downtown San Francisco and the Pacific Ocean. Loyola Village is an apartment-style residence hall.  Each apartment has a full kitchen, living room and dining area.  The apartments are split into 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, each bedroom accommodates 2 students. Depending on the number of bedrooms your apartment has, you will either have 1 or 2 full bathrooms.

Internet:  You will have wireless internet if you choose to bring your computer, set up information will be available to you during check in.  You will NOT have access to a computer lab on campus.  

Gym Access:  USF has a state of the art facility that our participants will have access to for a membership fee.  The facility offers an Olympic sized indoor pool, basketball, volleyball, racquetball and badminton courts, indoor soccer, full weight room, aerobics and dance classes included in your membership along with a cardio alley.

Security

University of San Francisco is a safe environment with a security department on call 24 hours a day, the emergency phones located all throughout campus give students access to immediate assistance in the case of an emergency.  Your residence hall, Loyola Village, also provides all guests a 24-hour, 7 days a week fully staffed front desk for any questions/requests.
